Repositories / Applications
- Automatic1111 repo – Web app repository for running SD. Currently the most popular option for running SD locally. Includes support for a large number of plugins.
- NKMD SD GUI – Windows GUI application for running SD. Might be easier to get running for beginners but doesn’t support as many features as the Automatic1111 web UI.
- Visions of Chaos – Another Windows GUI application with SD support. Also includes many other procedural/AI image generation/manipulation tools.
Plugins
Unless otherwise specified these plugins are designed to work with the Automatic1111 Web UI.
- Multi-subject-render – Render multiple subjects into a single image. Solves the issue where if you describe multiple subjects their attributes tend to bleed into each other.

Models, Embeddings, and Hypernetworks
- Civitai – Large collection of models, embeddings, and hypernetworks for download. Contains most of the popular models, includes ratings and previews. Everything you could want from a model collection. Includes NSFW models.
- SDModels Rentry – Rentry entry with many popular models, including NSFW. Appears to no longer be actively maintained however.
Training
- StableTuner – Support for both fine tuning and Dreambooth training. LORA support apparently is in the works too.
